Testifying at Diddy’s sex trafficking trial, ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura gave detailed accounts of wild sex parties, acts of violence, and the rapper’s drug addiction.
Cassie Ventura, a 38-year-old singer who dated Diddy (Sean Combs) from 2007 to 2018, is one of the key witnesses at the trial held at the Manhattan court in New York, which began on May 12. Below are Cassie’s shocking revelations during her three days of testimony.
Diddy Held Hundreds of “Freak Off” Sex Parties
During the May 15 hearing, Cassie testified that she couldn’t count how many sex parties she participated in over her decade-long relationship with Diddy — estimating the number to be in the hundreds. At these parties, she would have sex with male escorts while Diddy watched, directed, masturbated, and sometimes recorded the acts.
Cassie told prosecutors that from the very first year of their relationship, Diddy proposed incorporating voyeurism into their sex life. He would sit and watch her perform sex acts with one or several men. Out of love and a desire to please him, she agreed. Over time, as these wild parties became more frequent, she no longer wanted to participate but felt she had no choice. Some sessions lasted up to four days and became a “job” for her.
Sex Tapes Were Used for Threats and Blackmail
Cassie accused Diddy of recording these sex sessions to use as leverage. She said he repeatedly threatened to release the tapes and ruin her career. “He would bring them up whenever he was angry about something. I feared for my career, my family, and I was ashamed. It was horrifying and disgusting. No one should do that to anyone,” she said.
“Freak Offs” Involved Baby Oil, Urine, and Blood
According to Cassie, after each sex party, baby oil would be splattered all over the hotel room. She said they would go through up to 10 bottles of regular baby oil per party. If Diddy directed an escort to urinate on her, the bed would be soaked in waste. Cassie also accused him of forcing her to have sex even during her menstrual cycle. She broke down in tears in court as she described the traumatic experiences, saying she felt forced and humiliated.
Why Baby Oil Was Used So Excessively
During a raid on Diddy’s mansions in March 2024, federal agents seized around 1,000 bottles of baby oil, along with drugs and three guns. Many questioned the purpose of storing so much oil. In a separate sexual assault lawsuit last year, one plaintiff alleged that Diddy had mixed GHB (a date rape drug) into the oil used during massages at sex parties.
However, Cassie testified that no drugs were mixed into the oil. She explained that Diddy had a fetish for watching people rub baby oil on themselves during sex performances. “Sean wanted the skin to be warm and shiny. So we applied oil every five minutes,” she said.
She also recalled a time when Diddy told her to jump into an inflatable pool filled with baby oil while still clothed. Even though she didn’t want to, she did it anyway: “If Sean wanted it to happen, it had to happen.”
Drugs and Alcohol Were Used to Endure the Sex Parties
Cassie testified that she drank alcohol and took ecstasy the first time she had sex with male escorts in front of Diddy. To cope with other sessions, she used “weed, ketamine, psychedelic mushrooms—whatever drugs were available at the time.”
“I can’t imagine doing those things without the substances,” she explained. She said that even when she vomited during the parties, Diddy would encourage her to get up and continue. She expressed deep disgust over the acts, but said “he dismissed” her feelings and concerns.
Freak Offs Caused Infections and Health Issues
During her May 14 testimony, Cassie revealed that the frequent, prolonged sex parties led to urinary tract infections, mouth ulcers, and stomach problems. “I tried to keep clean, took antibiotics, but nothing worked anymore. It was a mess. It caused lasting pain,” she said.
Diddy’s Alleged Drug Addiction
During cross-examination on May 15, Cassie said Diddy was addicted to drugs. When asked whether he became angry or unstable during withdrawal, she replied, “I’m not a doctor. But when he stopped taking certain drugs, he became extremely irritable.”
Cassie also testified that Diddy once overdosed on painkillers and that his drug use affected his mood and behavior. She added that Diddy would become jealous and agitated when she used drugs with others instead of with him.
Physical Abuse
On May 13, Cassie testified that Diddy was physically abusive throughout their relationship. “Yes, the fights often escalated into physical violence. He would smash my head, knock me down, drag me, and kick me,” she told the jury.
She described visible injuries from the abuse: “I had lumps on my forehead, black eyes, bloodshot eyes, bruises all over my body.”
After a video of Diddy assaulting her in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 was shown in court, Cassie stood up to testify. She said Diddy threw a vase at her in the hotel room and verbally abused her, prompting her to leave. However, “he chased me into the hallway, slammed me to the ground, kicked me, and dragged me back into the room.”
Cassie said she didn’t fight back and covered her face, as she had a film premiere two days later. To conceal the bruises, she wore heavy makeup and changed her dress for the event with Diddy.
